This 4th generation House Head is affectionately called “The Rising Star” by veteran DJs due to her effortless ability to bridge the gap between Classic House and emerging House music enthusiasts. Her all-inclusive loyal following unites the Silent Generation, Baby Boomers, Gen Xers, Millennials, and GenZs in 

family-reunion fashion. Never afraid to experiment, Blue Angel's signature style, called "Social House," infuses a variety of music genres with artistic flair, often applying a “non-traditional” House BPM suitable and flexible for any social occaision and venue.

DJ Blue Angel (a name partially inspired by The US Navy flight demonstration squadron known as The Blue Angels) is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and has been immersed in House music her entire life. Her parents met on the dance floor in 1999 at The Legendary Paradox Nightclub (1991-2016). She grew up listening to Classic, Soulful, Afro, Techno, Dub, and Deep House music. As a child she spent quality time dancing with her mother in the living room, soaking up the many stories told about “The Dancers” of the House scene. Her mother, just like her mother before her, would imitate the dancers from the club and encourage her to express herself at home on their makeshift dance floor. “I often imagined what it would be like to be part of the club scene. I wanted to experience that same feeling in person.”  

After 5 years of honing her craft and developing her own sound, Blue Angel made her highly anticipated DJ debut in 2018 on HGR (a local House music internet radio station). The outpouring of love and support immediately grew into a devoted following called HALOS.  When asked to describe her unique sound to listeners, she called it "Social House" music (not to be mistaken for political music). Her intentional music selection and non-traditional House BPM (creating re-edits when necessary) allows for a greater appreciation of the music. She is known for taking her time and for her smooth, flawless transitions. "Social House music is necessary today because not every party intends for people to occupy the dance floor and sweat. My style of House music provides a smooth, groovy audio backdrop that enhances the gathering. I always encourage my guests to come early and to enjoy the journey. I want them to feel free to socialize over drinks and food, take selfies, and share their experience with others. The new generation of party-goers express themselves through their social media platforms by capturing the moment, engaging their followers, and live-streaming in real time. I want my audience to have dynamic fun and unique experiences in an organic way and to appreciate the story being told through my music. I'm setting a vibe!"  

Since her 2018 debut, DJ Blue Angel has appeared on a number of local internet radio platforms and has performed alongside notable Baltimore House music DJs at popular venues throughout Maryland. One of her proudest accomplishments was a solo project in 2019 which allowed her to introduce her signature Social House sound to Les Twins (the world-renowned French Hip Hop dance duo) at their Summer Baltimore Dance Workshop.  

Her invitation to join the Summer 2022 lineup at Quantize Recording's Second Annual Quintessential Soul Festival was received with positive reviews amongst her DJ peers and festival goers. She performed alongside notable veteran DJs, including Chicago DJ/Producer Mike Dunn, New York Producer/DJ Mark Francis, International Singer/Songwriter/DJ/Producer Ultra Naté, award winning Basement Boys Co-Founder/Producer/DJ Thommy Davis, and Quantize Recordings Founder/Producer/International DJ Spen, to name a few.   

During the Summer of 2023, Blue Angel was selected to kick off the 20th Anniversary for Collective Minds House Music Festival. Her 1 hour and 30 minute set, executed with passion, commanded the respect of her DJ peers and solidified her mark within the Baltimore House community. She performed alongside notable Singer/Songwriter/Vocalist Ed Ramsey and veteran DJs, including Vice President of Collective Minds Organization/Co-owner of POJI Records/Songwriter/DJ/Producer/ DJ Oji.

Welcoming Fall of 2023, she was invited by the Office of the Mayor to perform at Artscape (America's largest free outdoor arts festival, rocking the cultural heart of Baltimore since 1982) which headlined DJ Pee.Wee “Anderson .Paak”, Muni Long, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, and Dr. Madd Vibe, featuring Angelo Moore.

Also in 2023, she launched "Tiny Studio Mix Show" (a monthly live interactive Twitch stream) and "The Ghost Angel Show" (an online weekly mix stream on Handz on Radio music station 24/7/365, that recently celebrated it's 20th anniversary) in collaboration with her mentor Kasper Burnstein.
